Outdoor Mysticism, Druidry
Rarely will you ever see people with a way of life that includes a written language, a divination system, an astrological system and even an alphabet ....based on trees!   Now that's some plant love, ever I've seen it!  Therefore, in honor of their devotion to The Plant People, I've devoted a whole series of posts about aspects of the Druidic path as it relates to trees, though Druidry is a much, much broader and deeper topic than that.

Unfortunately, the Druids didn't leave much in terms of written records, since their ways were transmitted teacher to student verbally.  And most of whatever records they did leave were destroyed by the Roman Empire during conquest.  So, almost all that remains attesting to their existence is the fascinating, and rather ingenious plant lore they developed.
